my face when I open canvas at 11:30 and see 7 quizzes, 2 ppts, 4 assignments, and 3 tables due at 11:59 |
I am in dental assisting school, and am two weeks away from being finished with all of my classes. I will still have a regular internship for some weeks, but the elation I feel at having completed this long and arduous journey inspired me to look back in a humorous way!

me to myself, honestly |

 |
me for my ICE exam. by God's grace, I passed |

 |
patients side-eyeing you while you adjust the x-ray machine |
 |
me studying for the instrument quiz for the first time as the teacher is passing it out

me and my classmates waist deep in assignments still keepin' it positive

what patients see when I pass the dr. the syringe
me waiting for the doctor having nothing to say because I already asked "how are you?"

how it felt being one of the oldest in my class
when I realize that the students who barely tried and still don't know tooth numbers got on the dean's list too. (I'm not bitter. no, really, I'm not.)

the face me and my classmates make when that one student won't stop asking questions and end up prolonging the lecture
